Bram Stoker’s Dracula
Character: Count Dracula
Variant: Red dressing robe
Debut: October 2010
Tunic and dressing coat
The floor-length tunic with long sleeves is made of off-white viscose satin. The tunic is lined with ivory cotton and closes in the back with a button. The chest part has a overlay of gold embroidered off-white tulle. A turtleneck sweater is worn underneath.
The nearly floor-length dressing coat is made of approx. 16 m red shantung silk. It has a shawl collar and kimono-Raglan sleeves and a very long train which is self-lined as the rest of the coat. A gore is inserted at the side seams to give the coat more fullness and correct drape. Two big, mirrored, custom-made red and gold dragon appliques are attached at height of the chest.
Wig
The wig is self-made of three light grey wigs, two shaped sponges for the humps, white felt and loose artificial hair for the long braid.
